The Arts in Colorado: Theatre
There is a large theatre community in Colorado, consisting of hundreds of theatre companies and thousands of professional actors. The list of famous names with ties to Colorado include Douglas Fairbanks, Hattie McDaniel, Don Cheadle, Lon Cheney, Tim Allen, Roseanne Barr, Jessica Biel, and Amy Adams.
So you’ve got the acting bug? There are numerous workshops available to help you hone your skills, and lists of casting calls when you’re ready to put yourself out there. Like all artistic callings, acting is also a business, and there are resources available to help you put a portfolio together.
